A law suit seekign a Declaration of Invalifity muist be filed. There are strict tie limits within which to obtain what is typically called an annulment. It is not a "simple" matter. You should discuss the issue with an attorney quickly. If you do not you may only be able to obtain a divorce.

Unfortunately, deciding that marriage isn't for you is not a grounds for annulment. When people no longer feel marriage is for them, even if the marriage is one day old, they get a divorce. Annulment in IL is based on things like fraud, duress, and so on. Plus annulments are much more expensive and time consuming (usually) than a divorce anyway. Let me know if you have any questions.
