Marriage & Wills

Both my husband and I came into the marriage with property.If one of us dies without a will, does the other spouse get the property. (our property has never been changed over to includ either person).

If the property in question has another persons name on the account or deed then the property will pass to that individual--not to you. This is the same for any type of life insurance policy. Furthermore this would be the case even if you had a will. So I suggest you see an attorney to have wills drafted and address the property issues.
