Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
Please help!
I'm married with an US citizen 2 1/2 years ago, I already have the permanent green card. But our marriage is not getting well:(. I left everything for this man, my family everything and he treats me with disrispect and we fight all the time. My daughter (6y.o) always assists to our fights and we are really menthal abused. His family can't stand me and I don't have any contact to them anymore, I'm tired being humiliated. My husband cheated on me ''online'' at least 3 times now and I have all the emails and the archives with those ladies(very digusting , they used to masturbate together online). His brother sent him nasty emails about me. Besides that, once I got here in the US, I found out that he lied to me. He has enuresis and he is also impotent. In a word, he played me. I also have found that he ordered online Viagra before our wedding and he probably used it to convince me he is very potent. We got married in my country and everything was alright and I had no clue about all these. My question is: If I will apply for divorce are the emails and messenger archives a good proof at the court? Is it better for me to apply for divorce or let him do it?Thanks alot!

Re: Please help!
You should file for divorce, if that is what you want. There is a ground for divorce called irreconcilible differences, so you won't need all of that proof. It may help, but you don't need it to get divorced. Please call for a free consultation.
