Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

marrige

a person marrys someone who leaves the marriage after 1month then 5yrs later tells the spouse i divorced you 3yrs ago. so the other person marrys someone else only to find out 15yrs later the were never divorced at all. is the 2nd marriage legal even after legally divorcing the 1st person? & does that person have to divorce both parties involved? thanks for you help.

You likely need to divorce both people. I need more information. The first marriage is clearly still good marriage if you were never divorced. The second is a bit more questionable depending on more information from you.
