Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I want to marry my foreign fiance(UK citizen) here in the US, and then have both of us move to the UK. Can our marriage be valid if there are no residence visas between both of us?

I do not think visas effect the validity of a marriage. The marriage license provisions do not require any proof of residency.
