What happens to my medical insurance when my husband and I get a legal separation or divorce in Illinois.

Your insurance can stay in effect dureing a separation. If the insurance is through the spouises employer, you will lose it after a divorce. Although a properly structured alimony agreement may consider those costs post divorce.
