Hi My name is Melisa i am looking to get a divorce because i lefted my husband because he had a baby with someone else while being with me and he use to hit me how do i go about getting a divorce i cant take him stalking me all the time and saying that he will never sign any divorce papers?

He doesn't have to agree to it. You file a petition for dissolution of marriage and proceed. If he's hit you, you certainly have grounds or reasons that a court would give you a divorce. Feel free to email or call to get into the specifics of your situation. Do you have kids with him? Is there much in the way of shared property? Are you employed? Is he?
