Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

minimum age for legal adult

I was interrested in the legal age to be concidered an adult in the state of Illinois. My daughter has expressed the desire to reside with me but currently lives with her mother. I am divorced from her mother of course and need to know when she can legally determine where she can live.
