is my mom responsible

If my mother claimed me on her 2002 tax return, does this mean that she is responsible for any medical bills aquired by me during the year of 2002.

Hello. If you are underaged (under age 18)you

cannot be held to a contract, therefore your

guardian/parent may be held responsible for your

medical expenses regardless of whether you were named as a dependent for tax purposes.
