who does the money go to?

My uncle (my moms brother) died and has left some money behiend and he doesnt have a will! He spoke to me and my fiance about he wanted to leave the money to Myself, my sister, my mother, and his brother. does that count as a verbal will? does the money get split evenly or does just his brother and sister get the money? also the money that my uncle has is money that my grandfather left and was suppose to be for him to take care of my sister and I for are welfare does that have any effect?

If it is not in writing and witnessed by 2 witnesses, its not a will. There is no such thing as an oral will. The money goes to the brother and sister. If your grandfather wanted you to get the money, he should have created a trust account, or a will. You are out of luck.
