If both spouses names remain on the mortgage after a divorce if my ex dies would his half of the sale of the house go to his new wife?

Re: Mortgage after Divorce

the mortgage is nothing more than the debt. The name of the house is what matters in a post decree situation. Given the limited facts you stated, I would assume that the house, since it is in your name, after sale, the proceeds would be 100% yours. If you would like to provide more information, it would help to give a better answer.
