Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

The mother of my daughter has been saying she wants to leave the state(IL) and start a new life elsewhere. I continuously contest this and tell her i do not want her to be taken away from me. She is financially doomed and i have a pretty good amount of money in my family. I am on her birth certificate and she even has my last name. I've never paid child support, but i do buy her what she needs, and we take care of expenses that has to do with her without the courts. What my question is, how do i prevent her from taking my daughter and move to another state?

You go into court and file a petition for custody and to bar removal of your daughter from the State.
