Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

If the mother and father have joint custody, the mother being primary. But the child stays with grandparents and uses grandparents address for school. Can the mothers petition for child support be paid to the grandparents instead? The money if paid to mother will not go to child, instead go to herself. How do we go about requesting the child support to either be avoided or paid to grandparents instead of mother? Also, what kind of documents would we need to present in court to help accomplish this? Thanks!
