Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
Can the mother of my 7 year old daughter go back all 7 years of my daughters life for child support even though our relationship was ended 4 years ago and my daughter and I still have a relationship? I also have another order supossedly in Texas that is for another child. Can both parties get 20% of my pay even though I am married with three other dependants? I am a truck driver and with winter coming I want to be able to pay my support.

1 - in a parentage case, the court can go back to the date of birth, but it is not usual if it is defended.
2 - the support order for the eldest child is deducted, then the next support order - if the 3 other dependents are younger, then you may get nowhere. You knew about the other two when you had them.
