Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Where can I move?

I have a two part question. First, I have visitation rights to see my son, who lives about 20 miles away, which is no problem. I was planning on moving about 300 miles away, to a different state. Can this be done with me keeping some visition rights without much hassle? Second, I was wondering if there is some sort of law regarding how many bedrooms I must have in my apartment/house. Do I have to have a seperate one for my son even if I don't/won't see him very often?

Re: Where can I move?

You have a right to visitation which is reasonable under the circumstances. Living far away merely changes the nature and frequency of visitation. You dont have to have a separate bedroom for your son but you must have a suitable living/sleepng arrangement of some sort.
