Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Can I move my 2 yr old from Illinois to Colorado while I'm still married? We have no form of custody or child support agreement. I know Illinois has a law that you must have consent from the other parent before leaving the state, but I don't know if that counts if your still married.

if you are doing the move without his permission, you need to petition the court. There are some minor exceptions, and this area of law is very fact specific. I would need to know more to give a better answer.

i respectfully disagree. If there is no dissolution action pending, you can leave. Once a dissolution is filed, then you require his permission or an order of court.
