If I trade babysitting services (rather than employ a daycare provider) with 2 of my friends and we watch each others chldren in our own homes, are we subject to the regulations put forth by the Department of Children & Family Services?

Hello. If you are not registering as a care provider, in my opinion you will not be subject to DCFS regulations, but of course DCFS can investigate people with children, parent or day care provider. However, DCFS may

believe that you are subject to these

regulations, so be prepared. Will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail.
