Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Hi my name is Nicole and I have filed for divorce the judge told me that I basically didn't do enough to find my soon to be ex-husband. He now lives in Arizona. I have sent the summons to Maricopa County Sheriffs Office for them to serve him they couldn't because he gave me the wrong address. I also sent certified letters in which they all came back. He doesn't want to me to know his real address because he owes over $100,000 in child support. The judge says I didn't do enough due deligence. So what and how do I go about trying to find an address or whatever it is I need to show the judge that I am indeed trying to find him?
