Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Does the non-custodial parent need to continue to pay child support to the parent (custodial) of an 18 year old attending out of state college? The non-custodial says that he will now send all monies to the child at college. I (custodial) pay her, health Ins. & copay & 20% not covered by ins., car Ins., cell phone. I was giving her $50. every 2 weeks ($100. per month) & using the rest towards her above mentioned expenses. He was paying $120. every 2 weeks ($240. per month).

Child support stops when the child attains 18 or finishes high school. (unless the order says otherwise) If he child is over 18 and has graduated high school,l and you and the father do have an order saying otherwise, Dad does not have to pay you anything. What he is sending is legally voluntary.
