Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

non-marital property

My husband and I purchasd a timeshare BEFORE we wedded. We became one, but I continued to pay for the timeshare from his account and from my own account. Is this non-marital property?

Re: non-marital property

I am a bit confused... if you shared the burden of paying (out of his account and your account) then why do think it would not be marital property?

Re: non-marital property

It is likely to have transmutated to marital property. The funds used to pay for the property since you were married are certainly marital funds.
