Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My order of support states I am to receive $3,000.00 per month for maintainance and in addition, 38% of net statutory income at the end of the year. Net income is to be calculated 'without the impact of deductible maintainance".

What does "without the impact of deductible maintainance mean?

I assume it means that in figuring net income there will be no deduction for maintenace that your ex has already paid.
