Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

owed child support

I was divorced from my son's father when he was 4,now 31yrs old. His father had never paid child support. Now I know he has a cashed in 401K. Is my son entitled to that for and if so how to go about it? Yes, I went back to court when my son was small, but his father never kept an address where he could be found. That was back in the 70's.

Re: owed child support

Child support arrears has a statute of limitations. You should contact the Illinois Department of Public Aid because they help anyone regardless of income to obtain child support and collect on past due support.
