Is Paralegal Training a Good Idea?

I am a very intelligent, high energy, fit, retired baby boomer thinking about studying to become a paralegal. I am retired public school master's degree level, Black Male, school social worker. Would my age (61) be a problem? A possible waste of time and tuition? Seeking hard hitting advice...Thanks!

Depends on what you want to do. If you want to work for someone, other than the government it will be hard.

If you want to work for yourself there will be many opportunities.
