Parental responsiblity
At what age am I no longer legally/finacially responsible for my child's actions/lliabilities. He is currently 17, high school dropout, unemployed and living with me. state of Illinois

Child support ends at 18 (or 19 if he is still in high school). Technically, you could be liable for post high school education (under section 513 of the IMDMA) but it sounds unlikely. On a related note, I suggest telling him to get a GED and a job.
