Paternity

I have an illigetimate 18 year old son I have never seen but have been paying child support on for 10 years. If he and his mother come back for college and I am forced to pay can they make me take the equity out of my home or my 401k at work? Should I put my home in trust?

No, but they can go after your income based on certain standards.

A trust will not help you (Illinois caselaw)
