Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Paternity testing

I think I have one of the more simplier questions....

Summary of my case: In the Child Support order, the biological father was ''father by default'', but this was 8 years ago. If he ever wanted to, could he motion for a paternity test? Should I have my lawyer motion for a paternity to avoid his possible motion in the future...or will the ''father by default'' be enough proof. We were never married, he did not signed the birth certificate. But he is the biological father, I know that for sure.

party, once a finding of paternity has been entered, even if by default. However, if both

parties agree, the court will order a DNA test.
