Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Paternity

After 3 years of seperation and paying child support for my 4 children, my ''wife'' has had a child by another man. She has now informed me that she listed me as the father of said child and is notifying child support enforcement that it is my child and requesting an increase in my support obligation. I have not had sexual relations with her the entire time of our seperation. What are my options and liabilities.

Re: Paternity

You have many options. The best option I beive would be to file for divorce and within that case file a petition to declare the non-existnce of a parent child relationship pursuant to the Parentage Act, 750 ILCS 45/7
