Paying for College

My daughter enters college in the fall. My ex and I decided to address paying for college when the time came. What is an equitable way to pay for it? Some details: he is remarried with he and his wife making about 220,000, I make about 95,000. Child support for my daughter ends in August.

Any suggestions?

Hello. Your divorce decree/judgment may contain a paragraph which sets forth the responsibilities of you and your ex-spouse with

regard to payment of college expenses. In Illinois the general rule is that the court may

order each parent to contribute to the costs of college based on their ability to pay. I will
