Payment to spouses divorce attorney

Can a judge legally order my friend to take out a home equity loan to pay his wifes attorney?And if he can't,who can we report him to?They both work so it was a dual income home.

Hello. The best form of relief is to

file an appeal with the Illinois Appellate Court within 30 days of the judge ordering this. I hope the 30 day time period has not expired. I have never heard of this happening before. I will be happy to answer any
