post education support

how likly is it for my x wife to receive child support when my daughter goes to college? plus, because of my income of less then 30,000. what is the likly hood of me having to pay for her college? keeping in mind, my daughter know i can't aford it and that's why she is getting grants and other students loans and schlarships.

Hello. As long as you do not owe a

child support arrearage and your daughter has reached 18, your ex-wife

is not entitled to child support. However, under Illinois Law, the court can order you to contribute to the college expenses of your daughter for a 4 year uninterrupted college

education, based on your financial ability to pay. Will be happy to discuss this with you further and in more detail.
