Is a father responsible for post high school expenses if the children do not speak to him?

The relationship with the children is not relevant. What's relevant is section 513 of the Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act. This section says essentially that college expenses get divided based on the property and incomes of the parents at the time the student is ready for college.
