Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Pre Nuptials

My fiancee and I download a generic pre nup from online.... In that document it says that at any time a judge can change it or make it void. If I don't want one to and I totally agree with the pre nup as is...... does that really need to be a paragraph in a pre-nup?? Now my fiancee (a doctor) says they all do and is backing away.

Could you be a little more clear. I don't understand what you're saying. Please be specific, and write as if I don't know anything about the facts.

I think it is a serious mistake to purchase an online prenup. for a little more, you can get a real one suited to your needs. Plus, with an online one, which a good family law attorney can break, you are falsely entrusting your financial future to a stranger living in god knows where so you can save a couple of hundred bucks.
