Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My preceding marriage official may not have been properly verified to have officiated my marriage. How can I verify this, and how does it affect me in terms of a divorce?

You need to get a copy og your filed marriage license. If you married in Cook County, it is available from the County Clerk - not the Clerk of the Court.
