Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Prenuptual Agreements

I need to put together a prenuptuial agreement. Where can I get the forms. Do I need an attorney to do this, or just have the forms signed.

Re: Prenuptual Agreements

If you want it done right, hire a lawyer. Any generic form you get isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Only a licensed lawyer in Illinois can help you with a pre-nuptual agreement. Don't go to those paralegal services advertised. They can only give you a generic form that is worthless, and they'll charge you money for it. They can't help you unless they are licensed to practice law in Illinois. Do yourself a favor and hire a lawyer. You'll save money in the long run.
