prisoners rights with children visitation
my childrens father is incarcerated in idoc, he has been their for 5 years and will their for another 8. he is getting angry that our 8 and 5 year old do no visit. i heard he filed a document to make me bring them to visit him. my 8 year old does not want to visit. my 5 year old does goes about twice a year, however i do not want them going anymore can he legally make me take them to visit. i have not received any document just wondering if one exists anyway.

Unless you are made aware of a court order, then it is simply nothing. I am not aware of any judge who would force minors to visit their father in prison against their will. Sounds like a bunch of garbage to me.
