Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

property

My ex called me and told me he purchased a home out of the state the we currently reside in. We are still married . He is moving out there and he just wants me to sign papers he printed off the internet to start filing for the divorce. I'm not planning to sign them until I speak with someone regarding our situation. I have heard many different stories and just need legal advice. He's making around 75,000 a year. Can someone please advise me how to handle this situation. Thanks in advance.
