Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Pro-se case by wife and husband is fired by his attorney

I filed for divorce in September 2003. Husband hired attorney and I petitioned as a poor person. Now, husband's lawyer has notified me that she is withdrawing as his attorney. Can I request her files on him, how should I proceed? What motions should I file to get this divorce concluded?

Her files are confidential. She cannot and should not give them to you. You filed as a Pro Se litigant which means that you are the captain of your legal ship. I do not know the issues so cannot give you specific advise on what to do.

I am experienced in divorce work. Look at my web site and see if I can be of service to you.
