Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Q: Is it possible to overturn a divorce based on medical treatments occuring during the process?

Background:We were married one month short of 21 years when the divorce finalized. My ex-husband never vacated the house , for more than a year, after discussing divorce. He lived in the basement and agreed to take part in marriage counseling, but I found out he had a girlfriend the whole time. We used a paralegal at his request, since he was unemployed and we were willing to work things out with regards to child care. January,2012,a month after my ex-husband filed for divorce,I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My medical treatments began immediately with two surguries, radiation, and chemotherapy throughout the summer of 2012. In retrospect, I feel the chemotherapy temporarily inhibited my judgement. I wanted to trust his intentions, and I did not have the stamina or strength to see that I needed to plan for his failure to care for the children. Can the judgement be overturned?

Its unlikely that the Judgment can be overturned but you can go back in at anytime and request support for your children.
