i have one question how much child support will i have to pay how do the courts decide it and allimoni r however u spell it i dont have to pay it if were never married right?? i mean we have only been together 2 yrs

If you were not married, you do not pay maintenance (the legal term for alimony in IL). The standard child support for one child in IL is 20% of your gross income, as figured by a unique IL calculation.

You are required to pay about 20% of your net (after, taxes, not gross)income, as child support but no alimony or maintenance. If I can be of further help, please let me know.

You need to pay child support. 20% fo one kid, 28% for 2kids etc.
