Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
My question is about a temporary court order in the state of Illinois.
The judge put in a temporary order that contains BOTH child support guidelines and visitation guidelines. My sons father broke the child support guidelines due to the fact that he did not report to the states attorney or the child support division within 24 hours of having a job, he did however inform me. He was supposed to do all 3.
From what I’ve read and figured out - normally temporary orders are either child support OR visitation, they aren’t put in the same order. My assumption being because you can’t use the two against each other.
So now that he has broken the tempory order, what do I do?

You are wrong that temporary orders are one or the other. Orders which incorporate both areas are entered all the time. The fact that he is not complying with the order does not mean you no longer have to do so. The ony thing you can do is pursue a Petition for Indirect Civil Contempt for his failure to comply with the order.
