My ex-husband dosen't want to sign the house deed on my behalf, he's suppost to do it by court order, do I need a lawyer to go back to court and get it signed by a judge?

Re: Quit Claim Deed

Unfortunately, you may need to go back to Court to get the judgment enforced. If you have a Court order saying that husband must sign the deed, you should bring the deed with you to Court when you try to get enforcement.

You do not have to hire an attorney, but things often go smoother in Court when you do. There is also a good chance that your ex will be required to reimburse you for attorney's fees since he is violating a court order.

Please feel free to give us a call to talk about the details.
