Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I want to know if this is real. for the last 6years I been paying child support to my ex-wife(we have joint custody but she is primary, the kids are living with her but half of the time they are with me) I feed the kids in my days (always Mondays and Tuesdays) and my weekends.but since I have to pay 33% (3 kids) and health insurance for them I don`t have money extra for me to live now I was told that since my ex-wife make 55,000 a year and I make 23,000 a year I can get a reduction of my payment or maybe since is joint custody stop the payments.

If this true? I paid a week half of my check and is not enough to support myself what can I do? note I can show her taxes for the last 5years in court to verify my claim can I do it?

You may be able to get support form he. If it truly joint custody and the kids are with you half the time, she should be paying you support.
