Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I have recently got divorced and in the process I signed a quick claim deed without knowing what I was signing and know that i know what it means i have to wonder if my lawyer did his job bc the way I understand it I would have been adviced not to sign it at that time. So know I have learned that I have signed the house and all the amenities over to her to do what she pleases. I also have no say in the matter of the sale of the property but my name is still on the mortgage(loan), I STILL OWE FOR SOMETHING I DONT HAVE ANY RIGHTS TO(right?). So my question is, since I have signed that, does that say I have no say and can't do anything about the sale and how its handles yet its still my responsibility as for the loan on the property since I have no say in how it is sold or what even is sold with it or not sold with it. Such as appliances. I was told to talk to the lawyer that i used for my divorce but obviously that's what got me into this in the first place. So do I have any course of action that I can take now. What should I do or what rights do I have? And at end of this (say she find a buyer) do I still have to sign for sale to go through and am I guaranteed the check she gets will go to mortgage to pay off.[[[ And I might add that in the papers of divorce it States I signed the quit claim, which I did and the wifes attorney shall keep it in his possession until wife provides written evidence that the exisisting note/mortgage has been paid realeasing me from liability, and 72 hours after that the wife will be delivered the deed(She was given 4months to refi) and she couldn't. It then states in the event she can't (which is where we are now)that the parties agree to list the property in a commercially reasonable fashion with a local realtor soon as possible.]]]

What does this mean EXACTLTLY? WHAT HAVE I DONE WHAT CAN I DO WITH OUT LAWYER? MY RIGHTS? OR HOW AM I TO INPRETT THIS. (Hope ur able to follow my question. Im not sure how to ask it so I worded it many ways) sorry and THANK YOU! I AM SO SICK ABOUT THIS ANY ADVICE WILL BE greatly appreciated.
