Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I am recently going through seperation/divorce where I was in a relationship that was verbally, mentally and physcally abusive. My wife is trying to create a contract with some things I don't agree with. We also have some outstanding bills that she will not contribute to. In recent events I have been threatened by her to be harmed if I don't agree to the terms that she has made.

I'm not sure what the question is here exactly, but first of all, don't sign anything that you are not comfortable with. Secondly, threatening physical violence in order to force you into signing a contract would make it disputable whether or not the contract is even enforceable, but it is a hard burden to prove. If I were you, I would hire an attorney to help you, and if you fear physical violence from your wife, you can always file an order of protection against her.
