Recently my 9yr old daughter had a meet the teacher event at her school for the new year I told her mother I would like to take her instead she had her boyfriend take her and refused to tell me what time they were going is there anything I can do about this we do have joint custody

Your agreement should provide that she has a duty to advise you about school events. You had a right to go. State law requires a school, if you request in writing, advise you of events such as this. Any disputes you have with the mother should be mediated as required under the terms of your joint parenting agreement
