Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I had to refinance on my mortgage and the bank would not finance unless my husband signed a quit deed, he did and now I am filing for divorce, does he have claim to this property?

It can be argued that he did not waive his marital interest in the property; that it was merely done for the convenience of the bank, so I would argue he still has an interest in the house,
