Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Relocation during evaluation process

Hello, I have been trying to gain a divorce for almost a year now. My ex husband is fighting for shared custody of our toddler and wants to require that I live within 10 miles of him. We are beginning evaluation process, however I am preparing to move at the end of the month. I am being told it would be a bad idea to move outside of the city in which my ex lives since we share custody of our toddler. I vacated our residence 6 months ago and am told that I would need to keep our son in the same daycare no matter so I'm unsure why I can't move where I want to. It is approx 20 miles from my ex. Just looking for another opinion.

Re: Relocation during evaluation process

If you have an attorney in this case, I think it would be best to listen to your attorney, they know what the judge is likely to decide in your locale.
