Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
relocation
I am a mother of 2 and there is no custody order in process. No divorce has been filed and I was wondering if I can move out of the state before procedings begin and file for divorce in another state?

You really need to ask a lawyer in the state that you're moving to. I only know Illinois law. What's in Illinois? If there's much in the way of property in IL it's probably smarter to file here so a court can do something about the IL property.
