Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I am being represented now by a lawyer but I don't think I'm being treated fairly. Reason is my lawyer never tells me anything prior to going to court. The case is supposed to be over in two weeks and I have no idea what is going on except she wants more and more money and I don't have it. I can't live the way it is now. I am retired working part time and if I work every day which I do not. By paying her the amount that I am right now. I am making $50 a month and if I miss one day. I am paying her out of my own pocket for me to work. She is also getting half of my pension and she also gets about $700 from social security. Is there anyone I could talk to about my situation. My hands are tied and don't know what I need to do. Please help me. Frank
