Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

What is the resposibility of the school for my child without his parents around?

My son was removed from his classroom by another parent (who possibly was impersonating his parent) and then placed in another classroom. This person also was allowed to escort my son unattended from this classroom to the other.

What is my recourse? No parent should be allowed to remove a student from a class and put in another class without the rights of the actual parents. The school should have had systems in place that would prevent this from happening.

Greetings - This is a very serious matter. You

should investigate this situation carefully. Are

there any witnesses, other than your child? In

my opinion there might be enough here for you to

file a suit against the school for negligence.

However, unless your child was hurt the degree

of damages may be minimal.
